We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with experience working with children of varying abilities. This role requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes the growth and development of all students. The Assistant Teacher will assist in carrying out lesson plans, utilizing learning technology, and implementing effective behavior management strategies.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance educational experiences and facilitate student engagement.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports child development.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to ensure effective communication regarding student progress.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques.
- Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers or aides in the classroom.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education, special education, and childhood development.
- HS Degree
- Enrollment in an ECE program or CDA certification
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or preschool highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and their application in an educational context.
- Experience in lesson planning that incorporates diverse learning styles and needs.
- Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
- Preferred Education Level: Some College Credits
