Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rosedale, NY. As a Group Family Daycare Assistant Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher, you will work collaboratively with the lead teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for all children. Daily responsibilities include assisting in planning and implementing creative and educational activities, ensuring a clean and hygienic daycare environment, supporting all children in their day-to-day routines such as meals and naps, and fostering positive relationships with all children, families, and colleagues. You will play a key role in maintaining a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for learning and development.

Qualifications

• Strong listening and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all children, families, and team members
• Knowledge of proper day care hygiene practices and the ability to maintain cleanliness and a safe day care environment
• Creativity skills to assist in planning and conducting engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Experience and passion for working in childcare, supporting children’s growth and development
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education or childcare training is a plus
• Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification is preferred
