T-TAP Coach Designation

The New York State Training and Technical Assistance Professional (T-TAP) Credential - Coach Designation is a credential for coaches offered by the New York Association for the Education of Young Children (NYAEYC).

The New York Early Childhood Professional Development Institute worked with several statewide partners to develop the T-TAP for coaches. This designation of the T-TAP is designed to assure the quality of Early Learning Coaches by verifying that coaches have the appropriate knowledge and skills to support early childhood professionals and recognize their level of professional achievement in coaching. The New York Association for the Education of Young Children (NYAEYC) administers the credential.
