Description:
We're seeking Lead Teachers to join our exceptional and growing childcare program as we expand with three new classrooms! As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for caring for young children and planning and implementing age-appropriate activities. We are looking for energetic and dependable Lead Teachers with classroom experience who have either:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field
- A Child Development Accreditation (CDA)
- 9 credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) with a plan leading to a degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field, or a CDA
Salary: Commensurate with experience and education level.
CDA: ~$19.00 per hour
2-year degree in ECE or related field: ~$20.00 per hour
4-year degree in ECE or related field: ~$22.00 per hour

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of a CDA, 2-year, or 4-year degree in early childhood education or a related field with at least 9 credits in early childhood coursework.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting, teaching, or a related field.
- Ability to establish rapport with children, creating a nurturing and supportive environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Teacher, you will:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning centers aligned with the Creative Curriculum to promote intellectual and creative growth.
- Create a fun and safe learning environment, ensuring the well-being and happiness of all children in your care.
- Develop and maintain schedules and routines that balance physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents, fostering open communication and trust.
- Regularly communicate with parents regarding students' growth, progress, and any concerns or achievements.
- Uphold health and safety standards and policies to ensure the well-being of all children.
- Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and childcare staff as needed.
