As a Toddler Teacher (18-24 months), you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow. You will be responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, fostering social and emotional development, and creating a positive learning experience for toddler-aged children.
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the preschool curriculum
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions
- Conduct assessments to track student development and growth
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience with Montessori or other child-centered teaching approaches
- Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development for preschool-aged children
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured and positive learning environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with young children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in tutoring or working with students who require additional support
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures in early childhood education settings
