Job duties and responsibilities:

• Create a warm, welcoming and developmentally appropriate- classroom environment that supports the individual needs of children and encourages exploration, discovery, and learning.
• Plan and implement activities that support the social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development of each child based on the Creative Curriculum.
• Regularly observe, assess, and document each child’s health, skills, behavior, growth, and development using a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
• Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self-esteem and self-discipline.
• Maintain a well-organized, safe and attractive classroom environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children.
• Communicate effectively with families, providing updates on their child's development and progress, and addressing any concerns or questions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices to promote a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as our policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year commensurate with credentials.
