Description:

We have an opening for a PreK for All Lead Teacher. We have a small four class program on the bottom floor of a Catholic School.  

The candidate must have experience leading an early childhood class (3K, PreK, or Kindergarten).  

A Master's Degree and NYS Teaching License is preferred.  If a candidate does not have the Teaching License, he/she falls back into the Work Study Category with a salary of 56012 until the license is obtained.  

Also, since the program is inside a Catholic school, the teacher must complete a 3 hour Safe Environment Class called Virtus Training.  

Responsibilities:

Execute all the tasks of being a lead teacher -

Managing a class

Teaching curriculum

Communicating with parents

Collaborating with an assistant and administration

Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education

NYS Teaching License

 

Minimum Education Level: Master's Degree
Preferred Education Level: NYS Teacher Certification
